Looks like it's Winter that'll be giving Us the send-off, but
this Market is ON, people!
Whether you're an artist, or an art lover, a home improver or just looking to improve your day, be undaunted and swing by The Lemont Block this weekend. Come! Together we can debate whether March or April is the 'cruelest month,' while enjoying bevs and some light-hearted tunes, And visiting with 19 Maine artists who have worked Mighty Hard to get here!
We have gifts and high quality decorative items of all types and sorts -- we'll have hats and scarves and other hand-made wearables, paintings & prints, mugs and other functional and decorative ceramics, a wide range of jewelry, hand forged metal work, photography, Maine-made cat toys, pillows, lampshades, some glassware, and Chris Toy cooking up dumplings and other treats.
You don't have all that at home!
But you could, if you drop by this weekend :-)
Madison will be keeping the coffee hot, and mixing 'em up at the bar, featuring mimosas and ‘marys. And the world's oldest newly minted digital DJ will be filling in the conversational gaps with deep cuts from your past and mine.
Fear ye not! We will Swing!
The event will be held in The Lemont Hall, at 2 Pleasant Street. This entrance is down Pleasant Street, behind The Lemont Block Collective. Just beyond the 2 Pleasant door is an ADA-compliant ramp, leading to the elevator -- both entrances will open at 10am.
And of course please do stop by to see us at The Lemont Block Collective while you're in the area. There's more great art and creativity here from our 26 artists and makers, many of whom will be in the store over the weekend -- come in and meet them!
Also, right next door at Lemont you'll find the Maine Street Bistro and L'il Jam Cookies, and just a few feet away you'll find Broadway Deli, so plan your snacking and dining accordingly!
