Woodcarver Ken Wise is featured in the Sept/Oct issue of Boat, Harbors and Homes.
Ken has been busy this year leading canoe paddle making classes and carving classes all over New England. He'll be Lemont's Featured Artist, in November. Find out more:
The Times Record annually runs a statewide "Best of the Midcoast" contest, based on reader votes. This year (2024) we were a finalist -- among the top 3! -- in the Gallery category.
We're quite proud of this success, but we meet new locals in the store Every Day, so we know we still have a lot of promoting & introducing to do!

In April, mixed-media fabric artist Catherine Worthington was visited by a crew from the Boston Ch5 (WCVB) show "Chronicle" in her Brunswick studio. The result is a beautifully-produced TV segment which almost does full justice to her amazing, beautiful, and complex work (you just have to see her work, in person, to understand fully!)
